About the Authors
Mary Kathleen Kearse, PT, CLT-LANA, has worked full time with lymphedema patients for eight years and practiced physical therapy for 24 years. She is an active lymphedema educator at local, regional, and international professional meetings.
Elizabeth McMahon, PhD is a clinical psychologist with more than 25 years of experience helping patients, many of whom have chronic medical conditions. She is co-author of Living Well with Lymphedema (Lymph Notes 2005), author of Overcoming the Emotional Challenges of Lymphedema (Lymph Notes 2005), and co-editor of Voices of Lymphedema (Lymph Notes 2007).
Ann Ehrlich, MA is a professional medical writer who also has secondary lymphedema following breast cancer treatment. She is co-author of Living Well with Lymphedema (Lymph Notes 2005), and co-editor of Voices of Lymphedema (Lymph Notes 2007). Ann is actively involved in the day-to-day functioning of the Lymph Notes website. One of the primary goals of Lymph Notes is to provide accurate information including announcements about meetings and lymphedema-related events.
